We have sent employers invoices for unemployment insurance contributions for the third quarter of 2026. The invoices are based on wages reported to the Incomes Register for the period from 1 July to 30 September 2026.
We brought forward the billing schedule from October onwards. As a result of this change, the majority of our corporate customers received their unemployment insurance contribution decision and invoice approximately one week earlier than before.
You can find copies of invoices and decisions, as well as the data transferred from the Incomes Register, in our online service under Contributions and Decisions.
The unemployment insurance contributions we collect are used to fund Finnish social security, including unemployment security for periods of unemployment and temporary lay-off, pensions accruing during the earnings-related daily allowance period, and transition security for dismissed employees aged 55 and over.
