From October onwards, Employment Fund will start sending unemployment insurance contribution decisions and invoices about a week earlier than before. As a result, most of our in Finland will receive their decision and invoice around one week sooner. You do not need to take any action because of the change.
The invoicing schedule and payment period will stay the same. We will continue to send decisions and invoices four times a year, in January, April, July and October. The payment term will remain 21 days from the date the invoice is issued.
If you would like to receive an email notification when your decision and invoice have been sent, add your email address to your contact details in Employment Fund’s online service.
The invoices will continue to be based on wage information received from the Incomes Register. Please continue to report wage information to the Incomes Register within the required deadlines so that your decision and invoice are based on up-to-date information. You can find more information about reporting deadlines on the Incomes Register website.
The change to the invoicing schedule is the result of the systematic development of our information systems. Our aim is to carry out our statutory duties as efficiently and effectively as possible.
