Unemployment insurance contributions

Unemployment insurance contributions paid jointly by employers and employees enable, among other things, the unemployment security and benefits paid during periods of unemployment or layoff, as well as the pension accrual generated during periods on earnings-related unemployment allowance.

Employment Fund provides security during changes in working life: We support the promotion of employment by financing unemployment security, the pension accrual generated during periods on earnings‑related unemployment allowance, the transition security for people aged 55 and over, as well as wage guarantee.
