Employment Funds Board of Directors has appointed Master of Science in Economics Teppo Verronen (56) as Chief Financial Officer of Employment Fund. Teppo Verronen joins Employment Fund from the position of Chief Financial Officer of the City of Kerava. He will start his work at Employment Fund on 26 January 2026.
“It is very important for Employment Fund that our societal financial and funding responsibilities are well managed. Lay-off costs and a large part of Finnish unemployment security are financed with unemployment insurance contributions. I am pleased that we are gaining an experienced leader to join our Management Group. We warmly welcome Teppo,” says Karo Nukarinen, the current holder of the position and, as of 1 January 2026, the Managing Director of Employment Fund.”
