2025 penalty interest invoices have been sent on 13 January 2026.
Penalty interest is not included in the Fund’s collection letters, because we charge penalty interest annually. The interest invoice may also include penalty interest from previous years, if the amount of interest from previous years has not exceeded our billing limit of 10 euros. When the amount of penalty interest exceeds the billing limit, we will send an interest invoice.
The amount of penalty interest is based on section 4(1) of the Finnish Interest Act .
